Business Analyst - CEE Channel

Central Eastern Europe market:

Covering a vast and dynamic market in Central and Eastern Europe with 460 million inhabitants, 5 time zones, and 33 countries, our HP CEE Go TO Market team operates with approximately 500 sales representatives across 13 countries and 3 hubs. The team collaborates closely with Service sales, Print, PS, HPWS categories, and all supporting functions.

The CEE Channel team, directly attached to the CEE Managing Director, oversees all enablement and programmatic activities for Channel teams in the Market.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains periodic market, hub, country level reports to support business objectives.
  • Supports data and business analyses to develop cross Business Unit and Route to Market (RTM) long term planning activities.
  • Creates and maintains coverage, productivity and evolution analysis.
  • Supports productivity reporting activities.
  • Supports the development of statistical and financial models for forecasting and reporting.
  • Follows and act as a back-up to manage processes like target setting, exceptions, forecast, game plan.
  • Measures business performance and compares actual data to forecasted values (quarterly performance scorecard).
  • Executes market research projects and gathers intelligence on current industry, technology, and customer trends, Total Available Market (TAM) Map, Customer & Market Intelligence.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to support data collection process.
  • Provide on-demand, specific market analysis or business analysis.
  • Support the CEE Chief of Staff and Strategic Planners on preparing content for executive reviews & business meetings.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1 year since you finished your studies.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Typically 0-2 years of related experience in IT/ Business Analytics/ Sales.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage complex data requests.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Good relationship management skills.
  • Ability to identify and summarize relevant trends from market and industry data.
