The Role & Key Responsibilities: 

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial management and reporting aspects of the Company. The role will involve reporting and presentation of the financial results to the directors and Group Finance, in addition, where required perform the following activities: 

  • Initiate and oversee reporting and analysis as required to provide value through ongoing and ad-hoc financial information to the business.
  • Monitoring/maintaining regulatory capital on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Ensuring that all relevant accounting records of the Company are properly maintained and readily available, including annual and semi-annual financial statements.
  • Oversight of service provider relationships including initial and ongoing due diligence.
  • Oversight of tax compliance across Corporation Tax, PAYE and VAT tax categories.
  • Manage annual audit process.
  • Overall responsibility for the Company’s statutory and regulatory reporting and filing.
  • Develop and review capital and financial management oversight related policies, procedures and controls to ensure they are sufficient to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Attending and presenting at Committee and Board meetings as requested.
  • Supporting the business in any assigned projects.
  • Negotiating contracts such as leases, insurance, and other supplier contracts.
  • Providing training generally and on specific issues to individuals as required.

Skills Required: 

  • Third Level Degree preferably in Business/Accounting.
  • A qualified accountant with a minimum of 5-7 year’s relevant experience.
  • Analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Experience in preparation of financial statements, management accounts and regulatory capital returns
  • Cashflow and credit control management.
  • Forecasting and budgeting.
  • Audit experience preferred.
  • Relevant capital and financial management experience in an Irish regulated role, preferably as a designated Person.
  • Knowledge of regulations relating to capital and financial management including UCITS regulations, preferable.
  • Excellent computer skills, and in particular a good knowledge of: Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook email.
