Job Description

The Accounts Payable Analyst will handle and process AP invoices for your region and provide support to reach the P2P team objectives. The AP Analyst will also maintain SAP module information and contact vendors, investigate status invoices proactively and collect invoice payment date status.

Your Role

  • Validate, approve and post PO and non-PO invoices Calculate VAT, tax and withholding tax.
  • Check and verify supplier documentation for compliance with country legal & tax requirements.
  • Pay vendors by scheduling payment runs.
  • Respond to all vendor enquiries regarding finance and manage exceptions.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities and colleagues. 
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution. In case of complex issues, escalate it to associate/specialist or coordinator level.
  • Provide support to P2P team objective.
  • Suggest process improvements where possible.
  • Ensure the compliance of the process with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as ordered by the direct manager.

Job Requirements

What you Bring to IFF

  • College graduate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Accounting professional equivalent.
  • Preferably 2 years of relevant experience.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and email programs.
  • Good command of written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good command of other language(s) is considered a plus.
  • A good understanding of general accounting processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and providing top notch customer service.
  • Being a team player with a can-do-mentality.
  • Critical thinking is a must.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma is advantageous.
