Job Purpose

Translates the demand plan into a production plan to satisfy market needs, taking into consideration all constraints of the supply chain.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manages a portfolio of safety stocks based on the safety stock policy. Monitors on a daily basis if the actual stocks match the policy and reports discrepancies.
  2. Translates the demand into a production plan in alignment with the material planners taking any constraints into considerations. Communicates with the sales teams in case demand cannot be met and clarifies the reasons.
  3. Follows up on the sales trends versus demand and takes action in case of over or under sales.
  4. Supports in planning sales and operations by reviewing the approved demand, checking for deviations versus last month and ensuring that the demand can be met.
  5. Develops daily stock reports and monthly finished products stock level reports.
  6. Conducts biweekly supply review in collaboration with the material planning team.
  7. Conducts capacity studies, monitors constraints in all packaging lines and reports any issues related to the latter in addition to safety violations if any.
  8. Compares the sales plan to the identified constraints at the level of fermenters, warehouse, production line, etc.
  9. Presents solutions to the management team regarding any utilization issues and bottlenecks.
  10. Supports any new product introduction and ensures that the product is launched on time. Highlights any delays or risks from a technical perspective.
  11. Follows up on stocks and production plans and creates or reviews relevant reports such as the CFR, ROFO and others.
  12. Reports the monthly production plan sent to material planners, evaluation analysts and plant managers upon request.
  13. Ensures that the department’s key performance indicators are met.
  14. Ensures that all production activities are up to TPM standards.

Education & Experiences

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Engineering is preferable

Years of Experience

3 -5 years of experience in supply chain roles like supply planning and supply management, planning/forecasting role, logistics, warehousing, preferably in FMCGs.

Qualifications & Other Requirements 

Excellent command of English Language

Skills in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint) and Power Bi is a plus

Profound experience, with advanced ERP systems, e.g. SAP and planning tools, e.g. FuturMaster

Supply Chain certifications like CPIM is a plus
