Job Description

  • Be the voice of the Wholesale Channel to develop strategy and drive execution with cross functional teams.
  • Co-lead the development of Wholesale strategy in partnership with segment and sales teams.
  • Understand SBU P&L objectives to make sound go-to-market recommendations to drive top and bottom lines.
  • Manage the Wholesale ASM budget
  • Lead and coach direct report/reports responsible for the Wholesale Showroom business.
  • Lead cross-functional teams via execution of strong project management for new product launches.
  • Operate as the Channel lead and collaborate with Segment, Sales, Category Management, RGM, CMI, Marketing Communication and GBD in the areas of:
  • Growth initiatives & product portfolio
  • Program development and implementation
  • Research including competitive insights and recommendations
  • Collateral, presentations and training delivery on new and existing products
  • Lead the creation of a comprehensive ongoing Wholesale Channel situation analysis that monitors sales, margin, and volume across channels. Develop and improve channel annual plans to address unexpected challenges.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement tools to evaluate program/promotional effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements as required.
  • Provide input to brand and merchandising messaging and ensure they align with the overall channel strategy and drive the best possible customer experience within specific accounts.
  • Build and maintain channel expertise through field travel, attendance at industry events, competitive analysis, and close collaboration with segment, sales and category management partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales and/or marketing experience is required. Wholesale Channel or Showroom experience is preferred. Experience within the Consumer/Durable Goods industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaboration, engagement and building trust.
  • Demonstrated solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability with basic financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
