Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Associate Product Manager with experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM).

As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our ITAM product portfolio.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to develop and deliver innovative ITAM solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

Understand Market Needs: Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify market trends, needs, and opportunities in the ITAM space. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to ITAM.

Product Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of the product strategy for the ITAM product portfolio. Collaborate with senior product managers to define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and plan product releases.

Requirements Gathering: Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather and document detailed product requirements. Translate customer needs into actionable product features and specifications.

Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, to oversee the product development lifecycle. Provide guidance and support to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product releases.

Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of competing ITAM products. Identify areas of differentiation and propose strategies to enhance the value proposition of our products.

Go-to-Market Planning: Assist in the development of go-to-market plans for new product releases. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define positioning, messaging, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Product Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams, including sales and customer support, to ensure they have a deep understanding of the product features and benefits. Address customer inquiries and issues related to the ITAM product portfolio.

Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the success of the ITAM product portfolio. Identify opportunities for improvement and propose actionable recommendations to drive product growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience (5 years) as an Associate Product Manager or similar role, preferably in the ITAM domain.

Strong understanding of IT Asset Management principles, processes, and industry standards.

Familiarity with ITAM tools and technologies, such as software asset management, hardware inventory, license compliance, and IT service management.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Certifications related to ITAM (e.g., ITAM Foundation, Certified Software Asset Manager) are preferred.
