About us:
Grand Rounds is a new kind of healthcare company. Founded in 2011, the company is on a mission to raise the standard of healthcare for everyone, everywhere. The Grand Rounds team goes above and beyond to connect and guide people to the highest quality healthcare available for themselves and their loved ones. Grand Rounds creates products and services that give people the best possible healthcare experience. Named a 2019 Best Place to Work by Glassdoor and Rock Health’s 2018 Fastest Growing Company, Grand Rounds works with inspiring employers and doctors to empower them to be the change agents we need to make our shared vision a reality.
Our Team
Think about the best products you’ve built as an engineer. Were they powered by APIs that did what you needed, so you could focus on solving your user problem? Did these APIs just make sense and work as expected? If so, you already know what we’re trying to do. Building production software is hard. Making it so simple to use that it disappears into the background is harder. Doing that for healthcare data, which can be messy, is so hard that nobody has really done it.
We’re the Application Platform team, and we make it easy to build products with Grand Rounds data. We wrangle the healthcare data into simple APIs so our product engineers can spend their time on tasks germane to their mission — building products that raise the standard of healthcare for our users.
Your Mission
As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission is to make it easy to build products with Grand Rounds data by owning impactful projects from gathering requirements to shipping and iterating. You’ll lead by example on technical execution and build strong opinions that causally help the team achieve its mission.
