About the role

We are looking to support our business development in the automotive domain. In this role, you will

partner cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams. This is a

uniquely strategic and operational role with a mix of both internal and external-facing

responsibilities

At Applied, you will:

  • Engage with potential customers identified predominantly from other Applied teams or
  • organically based on candidates understanding of the ecosystem
  • Use customer discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and understanding
  • of potential solution from Applied
  • Host customer workshops and organize tailored demonstrations to explain Applied’s
  • solutions to customers
  • Develop final customer solution with Applied’s Product and Engineering teams for existing
  • products, or support creation of new products for new concepts
  • Iterate with customer on technical scope and business model, and guide the proposal
  • through approvals at customer
  • This role should also plan revenue strategy and outlook for these specific solutions in both
  • automotive and other adjacent domains

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 10+ years prior experience in automotive interest in relevant domains to guide our
  • customers on what are the best practices
  • Proven ability to work across stakeholders to execute complex projects
  • Strong interest and capability to work with customers and drive customer engagements
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience running multiple
  • projects and deadlines effectively

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with automotive technologies and simulation tools 
  • Experience working on a product at a startup from Series A to IPO

The salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
