About the role:

The Product Ops Manager will have 2 key roles within the product management organization. They will maintain the overall project plan for product management and their cross-departmental activities. In addition they will be asked to collect and report on Product usage analytics. This role is key to helping the Product team level up and perform better as a whole. The Product Ops Manager will be responsible for the product management process being followed and ensure product managers stay compliant. The role will require collecting, tracking and reporting on the execution of the product management process. The Product Management process runs the fill gambit from product envisionment through to delivery.

Essential duties and job responsibilities:

Project Management 

  • Work with Dev and Product to define project development plan
  • Identify all deliverables and required process steps to be executed
  • Track execution of process and delivery of agreed upon artifacts
  • Facilitate Kickoff meeting, milestone reviews and project completion meetings
  • Coordinate execution of PM functions
  • Cross coordinate project management between Product Management and Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Support, on all Go To Market activities; announcements, training, collateral, demos, …
  • Document decisions, action items and issues, and maintain and track through to resolution

Manage Product Operations

  • Document and maintain the product management processes
  • Hold Post mortems and process improvements semi-annually to review and improves processes 
  • Gather product management KPI’s and Metrics for monthly and quarterly updates

Product Usage Analytics

  • Collect and report on monthly customer usage of the L2L application
  • Track usage back to project KPI’s to measure adoption and project success
  • Use Metrics to determine challenges in adoption and raise awareness to the product manager and head of product
  • Work with Product Management to define measurements for success and how best to obtain them

Requirements:

  • Aptitude for process improvement and analytics
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management
  • Excellent communication skills (B2+ min)
  • Highly organized and an attention to details
  • Experience in mathematical analytics is a huge plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience in project management in software development projects 
  • Experience with Go To Market execution and product launches
  • Exposure to user based analytics
