Your Team:

In this role you will be part of a team of approximately 4 other members: permanent individual contributors with subject matter expertise; based in Bucharest. The team will be led by a WW Customer Disputes & Escalations Manager, reporting into the Accounts Receivable org.

Your Impact:

The Disputes and Escalations Specialist will be a creative, problem solving, positive and enthusiastic professional, and business partner within an administrative Accounts Receivable team. The team will define, coordinate and monitor actions, in collaboration with various business organizations, required to resolve customers disputes and escalations.

Additionally, this role works closely with other PTC department leaders in the determination of the root cause analysis for the disputes and escalations and will participate and drive on cross functional projects and programs for their resolutions.

This team will reside in PTC Q2C and will include subject matter experts in License Management, Sales Operations, Customer Success, Customer Operations, Credit & Collections, Accounts Receivable, etc.

The position will require the selected candidate to collaborate closely with other PTC Global functions to impact customer satisfaction by supporting PTC’s business with purchase orders administration, invoicing corrections, licensing entitlements corrections, internal controls, and other administrative customer care activities.

As the Team is a fairly new organization for PTC, there is an expectation that the scope might change and evolve while PTC also invests heavily in systems and process improvements that will eliminate at the root the challenges that this team will overcome by ad hoc, temporary workarounds. On this regard PTC has recently initiated a program called BOSS, Business Operations Subscription Systems: this is a large, 4-5 years undertaking will modernize and improve our Customer Operations, AR, Pricing, processes and systems. This team will be “informing” the Boss team, but not be part of it.

Your Day-To-Day:

  • Support the Customer Dispute and Escalations Team to continually achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement for internal and external customer service and process improvements
  • Oversee, coordinate & monitor actions, in collaboration with various business organizations, required to resolve customers disputes and escalations
  • Take an active collaborative role in cross functional team projects to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives
  • Reinforce a customer-centric culture in our organization that builds highly collaborative relationships with sales, finance, operations, and other key stakeholders
  • Provides customer driven focus and develops positive relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Benchmark internal processes against best in class and lead the team accordingly to improve performance and/or cost savings through budgeting and control
  • Participate to the creation and achieves quarterly KPI goals for the team
  • Works on projects and develops resolutions to problems of limited complexity in a support role.

Your Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in finance, accounting, or business-related field
  • 2 plus years’ experience in similar roles
  • Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate level skills with Excel preferred
  • Experience with Oracle or equivalent ERP system preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce would be a plus
  • Experience working under Service Level Agreement (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and performance metrics
  • Prior project experience preferred
