Digital Engineering & Product Lifecyle is a part of Digital Solution, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. PTC Products is responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within PLM-suite of PTC. You will engage in a distributed team following SCRUM framework and a product increment strategy.

In the role as PTC Windchill Developer, you develop and support the product team working with the Change Control & External Integration

Responsibilities

  • Enhancing existing and develop of new solutions and functionalities within Engineer Change Management (ECM) and Enterprise Systems Integration (ESI) of PTC Windchill 
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Product architect to understand, evaluate, and convert functional requirements into technical specifications and architecture. This also include breakdown and estimation of tasks
  • Contribute to the creation of deployment-packages 
  • Perform unit/smoke/functional testing, prepare test cases, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders 
  • Performing root cause analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement 
  • Creating required documentation (specifications, test cases, release notes, procedures, guidelines, etc.) 
  • Working with ticket management tools & processes as 3rd level support

Qualifications

  • Experience with software-testing is beneficial
  • Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization is required
  • Experience with creation and deployment of deployment-packages 
  • Experience in Java, JSP and JavaScript is required

  • Great communicative skills, fluent in written and verbal English
  • Motivated and result orienteered mindset
  • Highly effective communicator, committed to collaboration, and with a solution-oriented attitude and mindset
  • Ability to identify challenges and set up action plans
  • Experience with Java

  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps 
  • Experience with REST API and HTTP Protocols 
  • Experience with Tools like Eclipse, Postman, SQL Developer etc.
