About JLL Creative Team

We are seeking a Graphic Design intern, who will be responsible for design and development of materials to support the various business lines for both print and digital, required for pitches, proposals, presentations, and events. You will be a part of the JLL Americas Creative Team, which is tightknit highly collaborative and supportive group of designers within the Americas Marketing team. The Americas Creative Team currently hosts many skill sharing opportunities we will encourage you to take a part in. We will be your resource for any design, career, and business guidance or advice.

Job Summary

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will learn how to

  • Collaborate with our national in-house design team
  • Create professional level designs
  • Professionally communicate in-person and online
  • Receive art direction and critiques to improve your work
  • Participating in the entire design process
  • Working at a 9-5 corporate job and what’s expected of you when presenting yourself in an office as well as working from home.
  • Learn how to grow your network of meaningful marketing and design connections
  • You will get to learn more about yourself as a working professional

Dates: June 3, 2024 – August 9, 2024

Location: Atlanta, GA | On-site

Job Responsibilities

  • Designing and creating marketing materials including presentations, brochures, one-pagers, web/email graphics, logos and brands for internal and external use.
  • Graphically convey the company’s expertise and differentiators in a professional and compelling fashion.
  • Work within a defined template as well as take art direction for creating layouts for print and digital deliverables.
  • Apply advanced graphic design principles and develop new ideas to support these business lines.
  • Keep informed on design software and marketing/design trends both inside and outside of the real estate industry and apply new concepts. Additionally, must have the desire to learn and grow in this position.
  • Collaborate with senior designers and leaders as well as assist teammates as needed or when bandwidth allows.
  • This role requires an individual with strong time management and communication skills.
  • We offer a flexible work schedule with requirement to be on site.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or higher pursuing a degree in Design, Communication, Fine Arts, Digital Media or a related major

Preferred Qualifications

  • An interest in learning about corporate graphic design and/or internal agency
  • Knowledge of interactive and animation in InDesign a plus.
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with others.
  • Well-developed verbal, listening, written and creative design skills.
  • Excellent time management, planning and problem-solving skills.

Materials Required

  • An electronic online portfolio is required as part of this application process.

Computer Skills

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) for a Mac Operating System
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Emphasis in the use of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
