About the Role

Good Eggs is hiring a Growth Marketer. You will design and lead acquisition and customer lifecycle efforts through dedicated data-driven analysis and marketing methods.

We have rich, complex datasets collected in a multi-sided marketplace. Our marketing team is responsible for paid search and social, email, direct mail, social media, and merchandising.

You will collaborate with your marketing and data colleagues to perform a wide variety of analytical tasks to create business insights using existing datasets, ranging from:

  • Hypothesis testing,
  • Designing and evaluating A/B tests,
  • Conducting ad-hoc research,
  • Creating marketing metric dashboards,
  • Crafting complex queries,
  • And developing sophisticated predictive models.

The ideal candidate will be data-driven, intellectually curious, and a clear communicator.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, planning and execution of our multi-channel, full-funnel performance marketing program. You will be accountable for all acquisition marketing performance, aimed at maximizing growth KPIs.
  • Improve key growth KPIs including ROAS, CAC, revenue, and conversion rate while maintaining a healthy LTV to CAC ratio. Own management and oversight of marketing channel attribution and optimization.
  • Identify and lead data infrastructure and analytical improvements to ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and consistency leading to faster and more effective decision making and improved operational efficiency.
  • Partner with business, data, and technology stakeholders to increase new customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
  • Help build and maintain data products such as but not limited to CRM platform integrations, and marketing analytics tools in close partnership with data and technology team members.
  • Conduct deep data analysis in large consumer data (CRM, Marketing Analytics) in order to understand and support stakeholder needs.
  • Help manage paid agency and external partners that relate to the function of performance marketing.
  • Develop cohort-specific acquisition strategies leveraging personalization to maximize performance within each cohort.
  • Work closely with the business team to prioritize, build, and implement growth strategies that meet business requirements. Collaborate with engineers to clarify stakeholder requirements and support the team by conducting validation when needed.
  • Change how we think, act, and utilize our data by performing exploratory and quantitative analytics, data mining, and discovery.
  • Design dashboards and data visualizations to communicate meaningful metrics for our marketing and food teams.
  • Find opportunities for improvement in reporting; modify existing tools, techniques, or processes to improve our data-driven partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or Economics. Masters Degree, preferred in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer science.
  • 5 years of experience in data analytics, particularly supporting growth and/or marketing functions.
  • 2 years of experience in direct-to-consumer and/or digital marketing domain.
  • 2 years of experience with data analysis and turning data into insights and recommendations.
  • Strong SQL skills are required
  • Expertise in at least a few scripting languages – Python, SQL, or Similar
  • Experience with a business intelligence tool is required (Mode Analytics, Looker, Tableau, or similar. Tableau preferred)
  • Experience in grocery retail or eCommerce is a plus.
  • Experience with a statistical scripting language is a plus (e.g., R or Python)

  • Ability to build compelling presentations from data that summarizes complicated data and insights.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure, Agile environments.
  • Ability and willingness to learn any new technologies and apply them at work in order to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills – prior experience in conducting stakeholder meetings and presentations.

We offer competitive compensation based on market rates, evaluated bi-annually. Our final offer is based on years of experience, length of time with title, and demonstrated impact while in previous roles, combined with our compensation philosophy.
