Purpose: 

The Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) on the Integrated Health Home (IHH) works with a collaborative interdisciplinary medical and mental health team to provide whole person care.

Job Summary: 

You will be the lead therapist on the integrated team and serve as an expert consultant to the medical team. You will report to the Program Supervisor.

Profile:

  • Are you experienced to conduct initial comprehensive assessments of clients?
  • Have you provided brief, episodic psychotherapy, addressing mental health issues and physical health complaints?
  • Do you have experience in an integrated care environment?
  • Are you looking to manage a small caseload of clients needing both psychotherapy and complex case management?
  • Do you want to be a consultant to medical providers and conduct mental health assessments, psychotherapeutic and wellness interventions?

  • Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, plus 1+ year internship, and one (1) or more years experience in a clinical setting
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or full licensed acquired within twelve (12) months.
  • Experience in integrated or medical behavioral health
