Key job responsibilities

  • Own sourcing, evaluation, negotiations with gen AI technology partners in support of current and future PV programming and products
  • Drive cross-functional efforts across Product, Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams to establish tech deals strategy for your core focus area
  • Manage working relationships with key technology vendors
  • Drive process improvements across the team
  • Influence long-term vision and roadmap for PV Tech Licensing pipeline and roadmap.
  • Work across Global Media & Entertainment, and Amazon more broadly (Devices, AWS, etc.), to find synergies

About the team

The PV/Amazon Studios Tech BD deals team negotiates agreements supporting every aspect of our business. These agreements span from complex new technology licenses with unique and creative business models to basic amendments. This role involves strong collaboration with our stakeholder teams, including MGM/Studios/PV Sports/Live Event Operations/PV creative services, and new product development.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, of PV Tech Deals BD and focus on sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating genAI technology agreements that support some of PV's highest priority workstreams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.
