Description

  • Maintains complete and accurate records during inspections.
  • Coordinates with Maintenance and Operations to ensure equipment is opened in a logical and efficient manner, and the inspection/repair report is available quickly for planning purposes.
  • Coordinates and directs the daily activities of outside inspection contractors during turnarounds and special activities.
  • Inspects and monitors all repair and construction work to ensure it is being done per the plans and adheres to all specifications and codes required.
  • Monitors and reports on the activities and quality of contractors in conjunction with their QA/QC representative.
  • Coordinates process and corrosion reviews, revalidation and HAZOP participation.
  • Develops yearly estimates, budgets and schedules for PCMS & RBI activities.
  • Stewards inspection KPIs for their area to ensure compliance and risk based inspections are completed on time and issues are mitigated before retirement (leading as opposed to lagging indicator response)
  • Owns and maintains the PCMS database
  • Perform compliance audits on PCMS data validation
  • Maintains PCMS data integrity and report generation for review
  • Participates in routine PCMS user meetings

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of experience in the inspection of fixed equipment and piping systems required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in construction, inspection, and repairs of above ground storage tanks preferred.
  • API 510, 570 and 653 certifications preferred.
  • Certified National Board of Boilers & Pressure Vessels Inspector (NBIC) preferred.
