This position is remote. Candidates may be required on occasion to visit the local office when/if needed and require occasional travel.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years’ experience in a recruiting or similar environment 
  • 2 years’ experience providing support in a professional service environment
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate various programs and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Hands-on experience in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel (using pivot tables and other advanced analytics tools)

What will your day look like? 

As a Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will assist and coordinate all activities related to the life cycle of a law school candidate, including maintaining candidate files in the applicant tracking system, coordinating interview schedules, and preparing standard offer letters. You will communicate with candidates during the interview process and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless candidate experience. You will also communicate with candidates regarding benefits, start dates, relocation, bar registrations, etc.

You will provide support with the new hire/rehire screening, which includes conflict checks and administration of background and/or reference checks. You will communicate due diligence outcomes. You will maintain and provide information and reports regarding recruitment to the business and HR leadership team, including recording and processes of accurate recruitment data. You will assist and coordinate the summer associate program, including monitoring the assignment database or other assignment systems, work product files, and evaluations. You will also plan social events, create invitations, and work with outside vendors and caterers.

Additionally, you will support creating job-specific requisitions based on recruitment needs. This process includes advertising the positions on internal and external portals and the overall management of job requisitions, approvals, and the activities to initiate and close a requisition. You will organize and distribute materials for on-campus recruiting. You will coordinate with interviewers and career services regarding registrations, required materials, and schedules. You will assist with follow-up after the interview day, submitting recommendations to various offices, and coordinating candidate responses. 

In this role, you will prepare law school feedback forms and may assist with tracking recruitment expenses for budgeting purposes. You will maintain candidate tracking and status and hiring statistics. You will monitor student reimbursements, travel, and OCI costs. You will correspond with applicants/candidates regarding the process, feedback, and next steps. You will help coordinate firm and office-sponsored events.

You will assist with creating short-term and long-term recruitment forecast plans in alignment with the strategic recruitment goals and business objectives. You will play a role in developing and maintaining a recruiting brand by creating an exceptional candidate experience. You will provide support in creating and maintaining a recruitment-related social media outreach. You will assist with the orientation and integration of summer associates. You will also attend Hiring Committee meetings and/or meetings with other internal stakeholders and participate in other office-wide committees. You must be able to work flexible/additional hours during the summer program and on-campus recruiting season.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements 

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. 

The expected pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $34.93 - $50.66 per hour. If hired to work in San Francisco or Palo Alto the expected pay range is $36.45 - $52.86 per hour. If hired to work in San Deigo, Los Angeles, or Seattle the expected pay range is $33.41 - $48.46 per hour. Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
