What you will do

We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as a Consultant Intern/Co-op starting in September 2024 to December 2024 working in our Management Consulting practice in Montreal. You will have the opportunity to work across industries to take on challenging and groundbreaking projects. From analyzing and assessing business processes to improving client performance, you’ll be building strong relationships with our people and developing professional skills that will help set you up for success.

Banking Solution, Capital Markets and Payments

KPMG has recently set up a new team, dedicated to the Banking, Capital Markets, and Payments sector (abbreviated to BCM). The BCM team allows us to better support our clients by deploying specialized project teams and optimizing our collaboration with KPMG's global network of experts.

As a member of the BCM team, you will work with the country's largest financial institutions, and help them address their most complex issues. The team is composed of members with operational, technological, and/or financial profiles. This diversity of profiles allows us to leverage the strengths of each to provide transversal solutions focused on the client's issue to support our clients through major strategic transformations, from strategy to execution.

Operations

KPMG's Operations team supports clients in the Financial Services industry (Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance, Private Equity, Pensions, Healthcare & Life Sciences) with a range of services including strategic planning, industry related technology system implementations, Target Operating Model (TOM) creation, process improvement/design, cost optimization/value realization and accounting/regulatory change programs. As a member of the Operations team, you will assist clients in conducting current state assessments/diagnostics, target state vision/design, as well as developing roadmaps and supporting implementation.

People&Change

We advance our client’s business performance by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities, and behaviours. We assist our clients with strategic alignment, workforce shaping, embedding inclusion and diversity, capability building & learning, digital HR transformation and culture shifting. With experience in all industries, as well as both the private and public sectors, our People and Change practice helps organizations drive value and enhance success by optimizing their talent agenda and activating their most valuable resource, their people.

Interns & Co-op Students 

Our Intern and Co-op program aims to develop the next generation of leaders through challenging and interesting work. During your term, you will gain authentic engagement experience working with client projects across our teams. What you bring to the role
