Consumers Union has flagged the Program Manager, Automotive Data Analysis job as unavailable. Let’s keep looking.

OVERVIEW

AT CR we know there’s more to testing cars than measuring how the rubber meets the road, after all we’ve been testing and reporting on the subject for over 70-years We’re on the cutting edge of auto technology-buying and testing over 50+ new cars a year--including EV’s, plug-in hybrids and of course, gas cars-- driving each car 2,000 break-in miles, even before we drive the car on our test track.

As an Automotive Engineer on the Auto Testing Team you’ll report to the Manager of auto testing & insights. You’ll be based at our 327-acre Auto Test Center in Colchester, Connecticut, and test vehicles alongside our Auto Testers, as well as, working collectively with colleagues from the Data Intelligence, Journalism and Communications teams to capture and record the data that contributes to how we test and evaluate all things auto.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for cars (you’ll be testing them daily) and a critical eye for detail (you’ll be involved in reviewing content and updating our proprietary database of specs, prices and features) plus knowledge and insight into the automotive development process, product lifecycle and industry as a whole (including emerging technologies like electric and plug-in vehicles). Take a test drive here to learn more about how we drive non-stop and dig into the data to help consumers make informed choices.
