THE POSITION

Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel Group is on the lookout for a Cyber Training & Awareness Analyst with expertise across multiple cybersecurity domains such as network and information security, threat intelligence, and incident response, among others. This role involves working under the Cyber Training & Awareness Manager to create and refine training programs while ensuring clear communication of cybersecurity procedure changes company-wide. Ideal candidates will excel in understanding and conveying the importance of cybersecurity practices, demonstrating exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork, all while swiftly adapting to the dynamics of a rapidly expanding industry. 

THE GAME PLAN

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Assist in the development and facilitation of the cybersecurity awareness and training program for employees, contractors, and approved system users. 
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to support enterprise cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives. 
  • Liaise with various departments to facilitate the delivery of security awareness and foster a security-conscious culture. 
  • Draft communication plans and guidance on necessary training materials for critical program rollouts. 
  • Design and distribute bulletins, communications, and awareness materials related to Security & EIT projects, programs, and organizational changes. 
  • Help design creative and engaging ways to increase employee participation in cybersecurity awareness and training. 
  • Regularly assess employee knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. 
  • Stay up to date on current security trends, technological developments, and potential threats to inform strategy and program development. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure they meet their intended objectives. 
  • Provide support to the CHARGE leadership and Cyber Training & Awareness Manager in various departmental programs and activities. 
  • Lead cybersecurity change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and well-crafted strategies across the organization. 
  • Manage department intake, JIRA board priorities, and on-time delivery of work in partnership with the security assurance and GRC leadership. 
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improvement to help the team and other key stakeholders work smarter, faster, and more effectively. 
  • Support the CHARGE leadership and Cyber Training & Awareness Manager with department programs and other activities as assigned. 

THE STATS

What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a technical field (e.g., Information Security, Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience. 
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus. 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a combination of corporate education, organizational change management, risk management, information security, and/or IT roles. 
  • Prior consultancy experience and successful project implementation, especially with demonstrated expertise in JIRA, is highly valued. 
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with senior management and stakeholders. 
  • Proven track record and experience in developing information security awareness and training programs.
