POSITION PURPOSE:

As a Portfolio Manager, you will contribute towards the commercial success of our product launches and other value-added initiatives in Kazakhstan and act as the conductor for around 30 launches and other change projects in execution, working in close collaboration with the local and cluster cross functional stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the coordination of activities needed to launch products on time in Kazakhstan. This includes, but not limited to local affiliates of Regulatory Affairs, Quality Affairs, Supply Chain and Commercial departments to identify bottlenecks and “showstoppers” in change projects pro-actively and escalate for decision by Commercial
  • Acts as a spokesperson for Kazakhstan on project specific matters with the Global Portfolio management and other global functions such as Production site launch management, External Manufacturing and Supply management, Business development, Procurement, and Legal affairs
  • Together with the commercial team, evaluates and prepares financial forecasts for relevant product opportunities for Kazakhstan and financial planning for future new product launches
  • Portfolio optimization, identifies areas of improvement to portfolio and implements them
  • Coordination of commercial activities for launches prep
  • Analysis of launches performance
  • Tracking of launches KPIs / regular reporting on launches performance

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

  • a University degree (degree in Medicine, Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related is an advantage)
  • At least 2 years of strong pharmaceutical background in Portfolio Management & Analytics / Project / Launch Management, Strategic Marketing, Business Development
  • Expertise with project management, data analysis, and visualization tools
  • Experience and industry knowledge in the product value chain: such as product development, regulatory processes, market dynamics and supply chain

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Strong abilities in financial analysis, trend identification, and problem-solving, with a proven track record of making data-driven decisions
  • Well-established written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams, building consensus, and driving alignment on strategic initiatives
  • English Upper-intermediate or higher for regular communication with headquarters and foreign partners
  • Knowledge of products P&L
