We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Opportunity Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Data and Analytics business segment. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Data technologies and possess a deep understanding of our core competencies, including AI, Data Strategy, Data Management, Business information and insights, across the following technology stacks: Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks. This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive sales initiatives to meet and exceed targets.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the Sales Order Target for the Data and Analytics Go-To-Market
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and closing of deals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance and market insights.
  • Work with the Sales Executive and GTM decision-makers to assist with the development of the Data sales strategy that will deliver the strategic objectives as outlined in the global and regional organizational strategy.
  • Help define the way the sales specialists will approach the market and determine the targets that the sales force should achieve and strive to exceed.
  • Drive a sales culture by sharing best practices, developing and sustaining cross-functional relationships, and filtering information downwards.
  • Provide input into sales policies and procedures, ensuring implementation and continuous improvement to drive business results.
  • Drive the alignment to the sales and organizational strategies and ensure the execution of these strategies by implementing the relevant operational plans.
  • Engage with vendors and partners to develop and execute go-to-market strategies to be implemented by sales teams.
  • Take responsibility for closing the gap between buyer expectations and current-state sales models, engagement models, and integration methods.
  • Execute the sales strategy by making decisions that influence people, processes, and technology.
  • Measure progress against objectives and ensure that the appropriate level of effort is applied across the sales team to handle the client’s reality.
  • Act as a critical link between sales strategy and execution in the field and ensure that the end-state vision as determined by the executive team is achieved, balancing buyer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external partners to the benefit of their clients.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Deep expertise in Data technologies, including Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales within the Data and Analytics domain.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding sales targets and delivering value to clients.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Relevant certifications in Data and Analytics technologies are a plus.
  • Experience selling to industries such as Retail, Finance and Insurance, Mining, and Manufacturing
  • Sales Business Acumen:
  • Skills supporting successful selling through organizational and business outcome mindset.
  • Focus on planning, leveraging tools and data, and concentrating on NTT Ltd's business requirements.
  • Develop the skills to understand the client’s business, including commercial and financial aspects, to bring value from NTT’s portfolio of services.
  • Sales Client Engagement & Management:
  • Skills used to effectively manage and analyze the client throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Goal of improving client relationships and driving sales growth.
  • Detailed understanding of client needs, effective sales planning, building trust, and managing client expectations.
  • Sales Solution Skills:
  • Knowledge of NTT Ltd’s offerings, client applications, use cases, and market trends.
  • Skill to apply them to individual client and prospect situations.
  • Ability to link NTT Ltd offerings, including high-value services, to specific client and prospect needs and outcomes.
  • Sales Resources Optimization:
  • Building internal relationships, working with pursuit teams, and leveraging vendors as resources throughout the sales cycle.
  • Sales Pursuit:
  • Skills and knowledge enabling a sales team member to identify and advance opportunities at assigned prospects and clients.
  • Individual ownership and accountability for coordinating internal and external resources to close sales opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Execution:
  • Skills to ensure that the sales strategy is aligned with the business strategy.
  • Sales Business Management:
  • Skills to ensure that target setting and associated processes are aligned with meeting the target.
  • Sales Talent Management & Enablement:
  • Skills to ensure that results are achieved through effective talent management.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
