Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Enables ambitious regional growth plan by integrating new people to the field service team
  • Develops and maintains high service execution level in the SEA region via developing skills, competencies and execution standards.
  • Supports regional troubleshooting, remote and onsite, to make sure quickest possible solutions of technical issues and high level of customer satisfaction
  • Suggest improvements in GEA internal working procedures, templates, tool sets etc.
  • Develop and maintains reginal execution standards aligned with the global divisional ones
  • Teaches existing and new FSEs in SEA region troubleshooting, repair and maintenance methods and techniques.
  • Conducts practical trainings on job sites where executes service operations on different system components (e.g. compressors, motors, condensers, pumps, power panels etc.) together with other engineers.
  • Teaches how to use modern tools
  • Teaches hands-on service and repair skills
  • Supports troubleshooting in close cooperation with technical support teams from factories, acts as a local representative of 2nd level support
  • Develops regional standards for tools, uniform, report templates.
  • Develops regional standards for a service branch in terms of service execution (tools, shelves for spare parts etc.)
  • Develops local standards of service (maintenance) execution – description of works on site, technical costing, spare parts selection methods for service contracts in the region.
  • Maintains high level of safety standards, conducts safety trainings inhouse and for external customers.
  • Makes sure field service engineers in the regions have passed all mandatory safety trainings.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or a college in mechanical engineering is an advantage
  • Technical trainings at factories are of advantage
  • Soft skills or sales trainings are of advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in refrigeration service, maintenance, repair and commissioning
  • Excellent mechanical & electrical skills & knowledge
  • Excellent refrigeration process knowledge
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Basic knowledge of automation
  • Good reporting skills
  • Coaching/training skills
  • Service sales experience is an advantage
  • Branch management or technical team management experience is an advantage
  • English (intermediate or better),
  • Good general communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude & skills
  • Ability to work under stress and with angry customers
  • Strong Customer orientation
  • Patience
  • Ability to work in team
  • Ability and willingness to transfer the knowledge and develop less experienced engineers
