Job Description:

  • Process payroll for employees (Monthly and Bi-weekly), ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and internal requirements.
  • Perform and validate the Time Attendance and assist employees in managing irregular attendance records in the payroll system.
  • Keep informed of regulations, interpretations, and practices of the payroll accounting function.
  • Follow policies and procedures; develop and/or recommend new or revised procedures for improving the overall payroll section.
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of periodic/special reports for government agencies, tax authorities, insurance industry associations, and other units of the Company as required.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions will be processed accurately and timely.
  • Responsible for processing wage garnishments, liens, in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Validate payroll results and prepare reconciliation report.
  • Communicate with employees and other departments to answer questions and resolve problems.
  • Maintains employees’ confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in payroll or related functions. (Welcome new graduates.)
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and payroll software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Service mind and positive thinking.
  • Must be able to speak and write in English.
