What’s the role?

News Corp Australia are looking for a Marketing Communications Executive to join the Customer Lifecycle Marketing (CLM) team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing communication strategies that drive customer acquisition, growth and retention within the Client Growth team to achieve division revenue target and performance metrics.

This position can be based in either the Bowen Hills QLD, Surry Hills NSW or Southbank VIC offices, however the preference is for this person to operate from Bowen Hills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing communication strategies that support customer acquisition objectives across NCA’s varying Business Units and key brands that operate within them (e.g. NX, NIS, Events and NTM)
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Managers and key internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop targeted messaging and campaigns
  • Develop outreach & nurture cadence comms that progress prospects through the funnel to support Business Development conversion time & rate metrics
  • Develop content for marketing collateral, including email campaigns (e.g.newsletters, events, webinars and solus campaigns), website content (e.g. SEO web pages), and social media posts
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure campaigns are executed within budget constraints
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and ROI to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Ensure all marketing collateral and messaging is compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies

Who are you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in B2B
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience working with sales teams and understanding of the sales process.
  • Experience with market research and customer analysis.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused organisation, with a strong understanding of customer retention and growth strategies.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in marketing communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and extract insights.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions and emerging technologies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
