Job Purpose: 

The purpose of a Cloud and Security GTM and Marketing Lead is to drive the successful launch and adoption of cloud and security products and services in the market. This role is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating marketing plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of product offerings with customer needs. The ultimate goal is to increase awareness, demand, and adoption of cloud and security solutions, while also building strong relationships with key stakeholders and driving thought leadership in the industry. Additionally, this role involves tracking and analyzing marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimizing marketing spend to achieve business goals. Overall, the purpose of this role is to drive the growth and success of cloud and security offerings through strategic marketing and go-to-market activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing go-to-market strategies for cloud and security products and services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define target markets, customer segments, and positioning for cloud and security offerings.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
  • Creating marketing plans and campaigns to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of cloud and security solutions.
  • Developing and managing marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, product documentation, and customer case studies.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and customers to drive thought leadership and market penetration.
  • Tracking and analysing marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Managing the marketing budget for cloud and security initiatives and optimizing marketing spend to achieve business goals.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and drive innovation in cloud and security offerings.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Cloud and Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Familiarity with cloud security concepts, including data protection, identity and access management, and network security.
  • Go-To-Market Strategy: Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for technology products and services. This includes defining target markets, customer segments, and positioning, as well as creating marketing plans and campaigns to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Marketing and Branding: Proven track record in creating and implementing marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, content marketing, and lead generation. Experience in building and managing brand awareness and thought leadership in the cloud and security space.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities. Experience in analyzing market data and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and customer success.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Proficiency in tracking and analyzing marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns. Experience in using data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive business results.
  • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of cloud computing and cybersecurity industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate marketing strategies and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.
