Managing Director - Benelux

Reporting to the Vice-President and Managing Director of Western Europe, the Managing Director - Benelux will be responsible for all strategy and operations for Benelux, increasing Adobe’s footprint across the region. This leader will own and drive the business for Digital Experience (DX, strong line) and Digital Media (DME, dotted line), all while ensuring a productive and engaged workforce across the broader eco-system.

Benelux is a growing market within Western Europe, with a huge potential to grow in the coming years and establish Adobe as the undisputed Customer Experience Management leader.

The Managing Director - Benelux will have established relationships at C-level in the country and the proven track record to grow existing business, as well as identify new market opportunities. Additionally, this leader will be known for being an exceptional organization and people leader, creating the right environment for sustainable growth.

The Managing Director - Benelux will be able to balance execution with engagement and drive operational excellence through a consistent adoption of the Adobe sales process. This leader will be well-versed in navigating within a matrixed environment, with the ability to have an impact indirectly across multiple functions including customer success, professional services, marketing, employee experience, finance and operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop the operational and strategic plan for Benelux and deliver on this plan with flawless execution, driving operational excellence is key. Properly engage international/global key partners to ensure alignment around the vision and plan
  • Ensure your team consistently achieves revenue and strategic goals, quarterly and annually. Lead by example to drive the number, retention of customers and future growth plans and pipeline
  • Establish Adobe as a trusted advisor at C-level for digital transformation and the de-facto thought-leader on Customer Experience Management
  • Partner and collaborate with our Commercial business for shared opportunities and support the growth of every business
  • Serve as the single point of contact for senior executives, customers and partners in Benelux, representing the entire business
  • Own the overall engagement and wellbeing of Adobe within the region in business partnership with Employee Experience, Legal, Operations, Finance and other functional groups to ensure that their expertise is improved to achieve company goals
  • Attract, develop and retain an elite team, leading them through change, developing career paths, and creating the right environment for long-term success
  • Represent Adobe to the external market, partners, alliances and government communities in the pursuit of building market awareness, relationships and increased revenue streams
  • Be an integral part of the Western leadership team, aligning vision, collaborating, and partnering with other Country Leaders and collaborators to optimize Western opportunities
  • Ensures that business is transacted in accordance with Adobe's code of business ethics, revenue recognition policy and discount approval levels.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A track record of success for building a vision and plan that drives near and long-term revenue goals, backed by real operational excellence
  • Growth mindset, with a solid experience in inspiring change, scaling businesses through optimized Go-To-Market, shaping Large Scale ground-breaking customer projects, with multi-level solution selling expertise
  • Established executive level relationships with key customers across a broad portfolio of industries. Deep understanding of the Italian market and dynamics
  • Second-line management experience, growing and leading large teams to success in a matrixed organization, effective cross-functional leadership
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, you’ll be the face of Adobe both internally and externally, engaging with media, business and government
  • Clear passion, natural charisma and ability to inspire, fostering a performance driven culture built on excellence, collaboration, constructive feedback and continuous learning
  • Have diversity, equity and inclusion at the heart of all you do
  • Deep experience in enterprise software (SaaS) and services sales
  • Ability to communicate efficiently in both Dutch and English (oral and written)
  • Strong ethics and cultural fit with Adobe core values
