As part of the Global Data Solutions business, our Investment Information Services Operations team provides a range of analytics solutions to our institutional clients in the region. The team is responsible for the production and delivery of analytics services provided across performance, compliance, risk and Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) products. 

As an Investment Compliance, Performance and Ex-ante Risk Reporting Associate, you will be responsible to manage client reporting deliveries, drive client change and strategic initiatives for our Asia Pacific Investment Information Services ("IIS") business.

You will require investment compliance, performance and ex-ante risk technical skills so as internal and external stakeholder management skills.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage client reporting deliveries, client queries and prioritization of change requests by working closely with our business partners on the triage, analysis, build and implementation
  • Coordinate regional initiatives to identify operational and system gaps within current processes, and drive automated solutions with applicable controls and work practices
  • Provide oversight governance on offshored functions and monitor performance of service provider on regular basis
  • Ability to work with vendors in building servicing capabilities and provide operational view on required implementation
  • Partner with Product and Business Leads across region to create an integrated service platform covering portfolio ex-ante risk, mandate compliance, ESG and performance reporting.
  • Support client workshop by working with internal stakeholders and required subject matter expert representation
  • Management of regional and global projects by leading Asia Pacific implementation from initial design to execution/implementation of the project life-cycle (including system/vendor migration, testing and implementation)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5-10 years fund operation experience 
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in related discipline
  • Strong experience in performance, compliance and ex-ante risk 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in managing senior regional and global stakeholders
  • Experience in similar functions in managing complex business processes, system change and client build requirements
  • Ability to work in high-paced environment, flexible and be able to organize work priorities for Asia Pacific region
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Exposure to mandate compliance monitoring will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting will be an advantage
  • Worked with control and risk stakeholders with strong understanding of operational controls, processes and requirements is preferred
  • Fluent in Mandarin language
