  • 5+ years of experience in project management and delivering results under complex & pressured circumstances
  • Experience in procurement with a deep understanding of Indirect sourcing & supply chain operations
  • Experience in MRO, professional services, IT, CAPEX, etc
  • Capable of building sustainable business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Global mindset with experience working in an international/multi-cultural matrix environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels; particularly at the management level
  • Influencing without direct authority
  • Passion for problem solving, creating value and improving processes
  • Comfortable with conflict and ability to provide positive and constructive outcomes
  • Expert level project management, PMP preferred
  • Six Sigma or Lean/Kaizen certification a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 

What You’ll Do

Indirect Sourcing Implementation & Supplier Engagement Manager role will lead implementation of our Indirect Procurement, COE Value Delivery strategic projects. This leadership role will be responsible for project managing implementing indirect sourcing projects resulting in e.g. new supplier onboarding, supplier relationship management along the supplier lifecycle including performance & strategy evaluation. This role will work closely with key stakeholders, internal and external, to support our various indirect procurement plant-specific projects and various supplier engagement plans. The scope of responsibility will include, but not be limited to, support of indirect categories such as CAPEX, professional services, human resources, facilities, marketing, IT, etc.

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of indirect wave sourcing events, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project deliverables.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and conduct project meetings, providing updates, gathering feedback, and resolving any conflicts or bottlenecks.
  • Support best practices in supplier relationships including conducting business reviews, performance & strategy evaluation, tail spend management, risk management and fostering mutually innovative supplier partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related issues and drive continuous improvement in onboarding, qualification & supplier management processes and tools.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Track project impact metrics, providing regular updates to leadership team on progress and critical matters
  • Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive project team environment, promoting effective teamwork, motivation, and accountability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement activities and provide opportunities for innovation.

This role will be expected to travel 25-50% as required.
