We're looking for a creative, curious, and data obsessed individual to join our Growth Marketing team. As the Growth Marketing Manager, Retention, you'll be part of a cross-functional team that is focused on new ways to maximize value from customers. We’re looking for an individual who can lead and execute strategic initiatives across two key areas. 

  1. Creating an incentive and promotional strategy for customers across their lifecycle. This is a new area for ezCater and we need someone who can both think strategically and communicate cross-functionally to all levels across our business. This role has the ability to shape and inform our incentive strategy across the ezCater marketplace and drive significant value. 
  2. Develop and execute the paid media & advertising strategy for existing customers. You’ll partner with the media team on audience strategy, KPIs, creative and budget to move customers along their journey with ezCater and deliver value. You won’t be a deep channel expert in the tool - but gathering the right insights, customer data and monitoring performance against goals will be essential to keep the channels optimized to influence existing customers. We have a proven media team focused on acquisition, and you’ll help take those insights and apply to retention.

You're an ideal candidate if you are a fast mover, creative thinker, and have excellent project management skills to keep cross-functional teams aligned. You’re comfortable (and enjoy) working without a playbook while testing and tracking new programs and initiatives. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Create, build and monitor incentive/promo roadmaps for growth marketing team by partnering with team leads on learning agendas 
  • Lead a new incentive focused strategic committee with cross-functional representation to make sure we are communicating and sharing broadly
  • Partner with marketing analytics on experimentation and reporting needs for incentives and monitor results to determine business impact and inform future optimizations
  • Develop strategic media plans for existing customers across paid channels by partnering closely with media team channel managers 
  • Bring media plans to life through strategic ideation, brief development and ongoing optimizations to ensure KPIs are being met based on campaign objectives
  • Develop and socialize frameworks to differentiate spend against existing customers

What You Have

  • 5+ years of experience working in a growth marketing, customer marketing or performance marketing team 
  • Have experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, demonstrating knowledge of customer segmentation 
  • 1-3 years of digital media experience (either managing in-house or partnering with ad agency) with a preferred understand and focus on Google Ads 
  • 1-3 years of experience related to promotions and/or discount strategy 
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams with senior management to achieve strategic outcomes 
  • Experience communicating complex messages and strategies in ways that translate to a varying audience effectively (both internally and externally)
  • Think deeply about customers and understand what motivates them and how multiple channels impact the customer journey.
  • Be creative enough to appreciate ad copy, analytical enough to grasp data science, and technical enough to understand how integration and attribution should work.
  • Be able to flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution to achieve goals 
  • Be a team player that works exceptionally well cross functionally and with external resources (agencies, vendors, internal teams, etc).

The national cash compensation range for this role is $108,000 - $147,000.
