Job Description

Regional Product manager Swine responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for our Swine biopharma portfolio. Key responsibilities include understanding market dynamics, localizing global commercial strategies, leading tactical execution, engaging customers through various channels and managing key opinion leaders and events. Forecasting sales for brands and products within the Swine portfolio. Additionally, the manager will educate and train the sales team on brand-related topics and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Strategy Localization

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape in the swine market.
  • Localize global commercial strategies and translate them into a Regional Brand Strategy, including priorities and key initiatives specific to swine biopharma business.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to maximize product performance and market share.

Tactical Planning and Execution

  • Lead the development of a local tactical and commercial cross-functional execution plan, aligned with the Regional/Country Brand Strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Campaign Manager to create a Customer Omnichannel Engagement plan, encompassing digital engagement, persona identification, content creation, and channel selection.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all customer touch points, and create brand key messages and narratives for the sales force.

Sales Forecasting and Education

  • Forecast sales for brands and products within the swine portfolio.
  • Educate and train the sales teams on brand-related topics, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
  • Foster a deep understanding of the swine market among the sales teams to enhance their ability to effectively promote and sell products.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Management and Events

  • Manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the swine industry.
  • Represent the company at conferences and promotional events, planning and executing the company's presence in such events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product launches and manage relevant projects.

Resource and Budget Management

  • Take responsibility for the management of allocated resources, including personnel and product budgets.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Marketing/Product Manager in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a focus on swine.
  • Strong knowledge of swine health and industry dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry.
