Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Manager/Vice President, People Leader to help create and execute innovative human resource programs that will attract talent and drive employee engagement and retention. We are looking for a passionate business leader who is ready to join a collaborative team.

In this strategic position, you are responsible for the enforcement of HR policies and programs that help the organization achieve business goals. This position will be responsible for the core HR areas including performance management, employee engagement, employment law compliance, employee relations, and talent attraction. The right candidate must be highly adaptable, motivated, a natural relationship builder, and ready and willing to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. 

This is a position for a self-motivated, strategic thinker, who understands organization development and efficiency and is a stickler for details.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with others, you will assist with creating impactful talent programs to drive the attraction and retention of employees
  • As a member of the HR team, you will provide generalist HR support across multiple business units in areas including, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and employee relations • Partner closely with management to thoroughly understand the needs of the business, be close to current and future hiring needs.
  • Work closely with all levels of employees to build relationships, provide HR support, and drive the business strategy.
  • Monitor Performance Management Program compliance to ensure timely and valuable performance processes; help identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps; develop specific recommendations to fill gaps.
  • Execute the day-to-day responsibilities of the HR function, including salary administration, reporting, and tracking. Drive continuous improvement in all processes and systems
  • Critically analyze current HR programs and, partnering with the People leaders, design, develop, and implement changes to drive continuous improvement
  • Connect and build relationships with other HR professionals across the agency network to ensure alignment and use of best practices 

Qualifications:

  • Seven plus years of generalist HR experience
  • Proven track record in successfully implementing HR programs 
  • Proven project management skills and project leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking, with strong influencing, problem-solving, mediation, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels of employees 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Agency (Consulting, Influencer, PR, Advertising), billable environment or service industry experience preferred 
  • Bachelor’s preferred, PHR or SHRM certification a plus 

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000. This position may be bonus eligible depending on individual employee performance and Ketchum business performance. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
