Senior Analyst, Enterprise Architecture, works in close partnership and as an extended member to the EA leads in driving the Enterprise Architecture objectives and principals. The EA Analyst provides day-to-day operational and tactical support to the Enterprise Architecture function, ensuring that the EA information remains representative and accurate to aide in various governance, measurement, assessment, strategic planning, and risk mitigation activities.

Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description) 

  • Perform periodic health checks on the Application Portfolio Management (APM) data sets; and ensure that the data is updated and maintained to reflect the true nature of the Applications and its attributes. This would require regular follow ups with various stakeholders and the proactive monitoring of the data sets.
  • Improve & mature the quality of architectural information such as applications, technologies, business capabilities, plans, and usage etc. as per the configuration and the APM roadmap.
  • Assist with various EA reporting needs and measure key performance indicators (KPI’s); partner with Enterprise Architect Leads to suggest enhancements & standardization of recurring reporting needs.
  • Partner with IT Build/Run teams throughout planning and design phases of a project/major enhancements on case-by-case basis.
  • Support the EA leads to identify and document, significant deviations from EA standards or recommended solutions. Track program blueprints including plans to sunset obsolete solutions and that proposed solutions drive penetration activities for standard solution adoption.
  • Collaborate with IT Solution Architects to document required end-to-end (E2E) architectural blueprints, logical architecture diagrams, data/information flows, process flows and integrations.
  • Actively participate in the EA community to review, challenge and develop recommended solution that promotes adoption of standard solutions and adhere to end state reference architecture.
  • Supporting the EA Leads with defined set of activities during IT Integration of the M&A.
  • Assist EA Leads with market research and technology identification and evaluations etc.
  • Suggest and support continuous improvement activities related to EA processes, strategy, or governance.

Qualifications & experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Information Technology, Application/Technology Management, Portfolio Management, IT Governance, and/or Enterprise Architecture.
  • EA Acumen
  • Business Analysis and business process documentation
  • Strategic thinking
  • Any Enterprise Architecture Framework Knowledge (good to have).
  • Domain knowledge in any one of the areas: Manufacturing Execution Systems/Finance/HR/Legal Systems/ERP (SAP/JDE)/CRM (SFDC)/Cloud & Infrastructure/Security Systems/Merger & Acquisitions
  • Experience on any EA modelling tool (Preferred if has knowledge of Plan`View)
  • Knowledge of End-to-End Software Design & Architecture
  • Understanding of Data & Information Architecture
  • Experience on designing large scale Integrations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to present complex concepts and discuss detailed technical aspects with expert Enterprise Architecture and Information Technology teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or other information management systems required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills required.Ability to multi-task with frequently changing priorities
