The Opportunity

The Adobe Digital Learning team is seeking a validated effective oral and written communicator and authority in the learning management industry to provide vision and leadership for a fast growing, industry leading software & software as a service solution. As a leader in the online education & training space, Adobe is committed to our customers’ success and the Evangelist ensures that customers’ needs are met both immediately and in the future. Partnership across all divisions, marketing, product management, customer success and sales is at the core of success in this work. By facilitating vision and communication across all internal groups and customers the Evangelist has an opportunity to collaborate and guide, while serving as the voice of the customer for Adobe, and the voice of Adobe for customers. The evangelist communicates the value of product features to non-technical staff and customers and ensures that internal staff has all the details needed to be successful.

What you will do:

This position, part of the marketing team, will work side-by-side with product marketing, management, and the engineering team to collaborate on eLearning, virtual communication and LMS tools & technologies, representing the internal teams in front of customers, sales, and the market overall.

  • Lead the conversation around the latest technology advancements and standard processes in the community at in person and online venues.

This includes participation in roadmap and strategy sessions, leading proof of concept and lighthouse case studies, and beta interaction for solutions and early stages of products. This position teams up with marketing and sales to provide deep product and solution expertise. In this role you will identify key value areas for technologies and solutions, build executive level demonstrations, create demo frameworks as repeatable solutions for sales, work with marketing to build customer messaging, and jointly enable the sales, consulting, and support teams.

  • The eLearning Evangelist represents the products at various industry conferences & user group events.

This includes working directly with customers and joining sales to implement concepts and solutions within customer environment and delivering case studies that the company can reference in sales and marketing opportunities.

Presentations are a big part of this job. Evangelists are the voice and face of our products and solutions to both small and large audiences, live & online. Only capable, comfortable presenters will be considered.

Blogs, Social Media engagement, attending social events, and other evangelist efforts are important to the success of this role. The ideal candidate will be an industry brand in this space, or quickly becoming one.

What you need to succeed:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the eLearning, and learning management industries, solutions, and standard methodologies
  • Confirmed experience with Customer Education Initiatives and Associated Technology
  • Strong presentation creation skills with examples.
  • Consistent track record of public presentations.
  • Experience working with product management and engineering teams, senior management in customer engagements and sales teams.
  • Ability to travel at least 30%.
  • Experience leading projects and working autonomously.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,900 -- $209,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
