Manager, Finance - Supply Chain Finance Manager

Join the Finance team to be a key partner to the Supply Chain business for the world’s largest retailer. The Manager, Finance - Supply Chain Finance Manager role will support the Ecommerce Fulfillment center operations by ensuring the accuracy of reported results, publishing the financial P&Ls, leading the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, and updating forecasts monthly. In addition, the position will support the team and field with ad-hoc requests and perform analysis which can drive efficiencies and lower costs. The Manager will also assist in analyzing investments and recommend appropriate course of action.

This individual is expected to provide their independent financial point of view clearly and convincingly. Strong candidates will be comfortable with large amounts of data, able to deal with ambiguity, be detailed and accurate, be organized and possess the interpersonal skills necessary to partner effectively. This person will also go beyond a traditional finance role by being a thought partner with their business partners, owning their area of responsibility, look for cost savings opportunities, and improve accuracy of reporting while decreasing time to report. This individual will also ensure compliance with company policies and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

You will Make an Impact By

  • Working closely with controllership team and operations on monthly close processes and analyze month end financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Maintaining the forecasting process for assigned eCommerce divisions by analyzing recent expenditures and commitments; providing actionable insights based on the results.
  • Stewarding the short- and long-term financial planning processes supporting area leaders to finalize budgets, conduct budget review meetings, and present information to the Leadership to help leaders track to their annual targets.
  • Working collaboratively with business partners to drive strategy and execution of high priority, initiatives, owning development and reporting of key financial KPIs
  • Improving operational processes within the Supply Chain Team and identifying opportunities for optimization or automation.
  • Manages complex control structures to mitigate risk of financial misstatement by examining and monitoring at different stages; participating on cross functional teams to develop new processes; ensuring proper controls are present in new and existing financial functions; and working to enhance reporting transparency of company financial systems.
  • Provide input for decisions by producing financial models that translate non-financial metrics to financial metrics by incorporating assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Have strong problem-solving ability combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate clearly and influence leadership teams.
  • Be organized, detail oriented, and able to deal with ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment.

You Should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in FP&A in a fast-paced business environments
  • Have a broad business view, high degree of curiosity and ability to view the business and solve problems with an executive mindset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to interact with various management levels.
  • Experience using SQL, Power BI, or any modern tech stack.
