Job Responsibilities

  • Focus on ultra-high-net-worth (Principal Business) individuals and families, as well as institutions for our Southeast Asia market coverage team
  • Manage all aspects of client relationship, develop and maintain long-term relationships through strong personal networks and contacts
  • Build portfolio of clients using resources and expertise of JPMorgan’s platforms, products, services, and networks
  • Actively involved in prospecting and acquiring new clients, cultivate prospect lists and actively convert them into clients and deepen relationships
  • Understand each client’s wealth objects and investment requirements
  • Work in close partnership with Investors in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities
  • Maintaining client relationships, answering clients’ enquiries, day-to-day account operations
  • Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks
  • May require regular travel into coverage regions to foster relationships
  • Work with junior team members in preparing presentations and proposals, and send out various promotion items to clients on request
  • Keep track of Clients, AUMs and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance
  • Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, operational, and due diligence requirements
  • Oversee private client relationships by providing strategic advice based on each client’s wealth objectives. Provide access to specialists and manage clients’ investment portfolios
  • Responsible for working with other team members on client sponsorship / Know Your Client
  • Supervise, coach, and train junior staffs to maximize their individual contribution to the team as required

Personal Attributes and Experiences

  • Applicants must be university degree qualified or equivalent, in any discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experiences of professional experience in a similar Relationship Manager capacity at another Private Bank or if they are from another discipline, must display and hold UHNW network and relationships in the Southeast Asia market
  • Strong written and spoken language skills; knowledge of regional languages such as Mandarin or Bahasa is a plus given the Southeast Asia team has coverage across Singapore, Indonesia and/or Malaysia markets
  • Strong presentation skills, an excellent communicator with client facing experience and existing UHNW client relationships in the Southeast Asia region
  • Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (private individuals and families)
  • Proven track record on investment sales and / or relationship management performance
  • Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in challenging environment
  • Detail-oriented and results-focused
  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments
  • Appropriate local regulatory qualifications
