Join Us as a Finance Team Lead in Thailand

As Finance Assistant Manager you will be part of a team in the Thailand region. You are responsible for the compliance and accuracy of the financial data and provide the strategic support for management decision. You will report directly to the local Finance & Administration head.

Your success traits:

  • Driving finance/controlling function covering P/L, B/S, Cash, and assets management, including Budgeting / Forecasting / Actual.
  • Oversee monthly cost center spend and ensuring expenses are in line with the approved budget
  • Support and act as deputy to the FIN head in optimizing financial results, (e.g., gross margin/profit, cash flow, assets) with due care, managing and assessing risks & opportunities, Implementing response activities and driving measures to improve project performance and quality as per guideline.
  • Secure consistent booking procedure of all business cases according to Siemens guidelines, IFRS and local GAAP
  • Provide data transparency and constructive recommendations for strategic decisions
  • Actively manage commercial issues with customer’s representative, influence the team for positive action and accountability and regularly perform and feed lessons-learned activities into the project and organization.
  • Ensure clear and consistent reporting on key financial data, for better performance controlling and cost center controlling
  • Provide data transparency and constructive recommendations for strategic decisions
  • Drive the process optimization, evaluate the existing methodologies, define, initiate and lead the actions to achieve more reliable forecast and more successful result
  • People management
  • Close cooperation with the FIN head, Head of Controlling ASEAN and internal cooperate functions
  • Ensure the guidelines are followed, co-ordinate of internal and external audit
  • Support active Risk Management and Internal Control
  • Understand value chain, business flow and business type (product / project / service, .Implement the corresponding internal control system.
  • Other finance related topics assigned

Your defining qualities:

  • 10+ years of experience in key financial functions like controlling, accounting etc. in multinational companies, and at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Solid accounting knowledge, understand IFRS, qualification of CPA or ACCA is preferred
  • Knowledge about contract, tax and laws
  • With the knowledge and experience of commercial operation, performance controlling, , cost controlling, strategic business planning, etc.
  • Strong analytic skills, experience in digital reporting and process automation
  • Quick learner, especially in digitalization tools such as SAP, MS Office etc.
  • Strong leadership skill, strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Growth mindset and able to think ahead / curiosity to find new ways to meet challenges and solve problems, be open-minded for changes / new opportunities. Take ownership of the topics.
  • Fluent in written and oral English
