What we do 

As the Data Insight Analytics Specialists at Allianz Partners – Global Health Operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Data Insights Manager shape the company's strategic performance and decision making by assisting with management projects and providing insights and analytics. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence by providing meaningful, aligned data insights across AP International Health business units and entities (incl Allianz Care, NextCare, Medi-24, Mawista and Australia). This will lead to enhanced data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Insights should be provided in order to inform decisions and strategy in a pro-active rather than a reactive manner.

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Creation and maintenance of reports and data in line with documented Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ability to design, create, maintain, enhance and analyse dashboard reports and KPIs across a number of data intelligence tools
  • Support Global Project Manager for Reporting and Analytics on One health Data and IRIS Project.
  • Understand the data relationships that exist between the business processes and systems. In turn apply this knowledge when interpreting the information requirements from the business.
  • Ability to identify changing trends and anomalies in data and investigate/ explain same.
  • Ability to translate data, analysis and commentary into a clear and concise story to support management in strategic decisions.
  • Creation, test and delivery of existing and ad-hoc reporting from current systems
  • Maintenance of reporting from legacy systems including highly complex reports e.g. Claims trend & Leakage reports to agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to gather, interpret, identify gaps and translate business reporting requirements into global reporting solutions.
  • Support with Development and implementation of strategies for aligned insights and analytics across international health. Promote data driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to identify gaps in analysis and whether the team can provide expert insights in order to fill these gaps.
  • Establish and Implement of Global and Functional Performance Management Score Cards to provide insight that inform strategic analytical models and support Data Science Projects.
  • Have a good understanding of operational business stream and underlying profitability drivers and leverage those to provide meaningful recommendations to Operation Leadership & Management.
  • Insight and Analytics Champion for the Global Functional Expert Data Committee: facilitate and develop aligned and insightful analytics across functions with the aim of creating insight focused interdepartmental work stream.
  • Support the preparation of periodic performance management reporting and presentations for Operation Leadership & Management reflecting financial and non-financial business KPI’s with in-depth focus on drivers of business performance and forward-looking projection.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for insights and analytics, promoting consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of reporting solutions, making recommendations for continuous improvement and optimisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies in the field of Data analysis and insights, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • May require visiting and working closely with Allianz Partners – Global Health Operating Entities to carry out project requirements.
  • Aim to provide insights that give the company a competitive advantage by collaborating with all functional streams within the Data and Reporting Team, as well as other Operational Departments.

Profile Key Requirements 

  • Bachelors in a relevant discipline; Medical background is preferred, Mathematical, Statistical or Medical qualification is an advantage;
  • Full English proficiency is required.
  • Ability to make prompt, intelligent decisions based on detailed analysis of complex issues. 
  • Detail-oriented to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure work products are of high quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills; ability to deal with customers and business partners in a professional manner.
  • Good interpersonal skills in order to work in a team environment and interact with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills in order to successfully prioritize tasks and monitor performance to ensure benchmarks are consistently met. Able to meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to simplify complex topics and analysis in order to provide meaningful insights to senior leadership in order to inform strategic decisions
  • Advance experience with Microsoft Office products; SAS, R, M, Alteryx, Power BI or Qlik Sense BI knowledge is a plus.
