Job Title: GCP DevOps Engineer

Experience Level: 5-7 years

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer at Dun & Bradstreet India, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating our development, deployment, and infrastructure processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, and streamline our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities:

Google Cloud Platform (GCP):

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP.

Deploy and configure virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, and other GCP services.

Implement and maintain security best practices for GCP resources.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Utilize Terraform to define and provision infrastructure resources.

Create reusable Terraform modules and maintain version control.

CI/CD Pipeline:

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Automate software deployments and releases.

Monitoring and Logging:

Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.

Provide support and guidance on DevOps best practices.

Documentation:

Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of infrastructure and processes.

Create runbooks and procedures for incident response.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and monitor security measures in the cloud environment.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Optimization:

Continuously assess and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.

Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and solutions.

Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and CI/CD automation.

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).Knowledge of infrastructure and application monitoring tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Google Cloud Professional Certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer).Experience with other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure).Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).Familiarity with DevOps best practices and methodologies.

Experience with microservices architecture.
