Job Description :

Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of the role is to drive the diversity and inclusion (EE) and Skills development agenda. In addition, the role will deliver HR Business Partner activities for support function(s) leading the end to end execution of the HR Agenda, including Employee Relations.

Learning & Development

  • Co-ordinate L&D/SD activities across the business
  • Engage functional Capability Managers and HRBPs to ensure their plans are aligned to overall L&D strategy and SD plan
  • Leverage Diageo best practice and tools, including assessment tools to ensure capability development
  • Co-ordinate large scale L&D activities (travel,etc)
  • Maintain training records and prepare submission of annual skills reports

Graduate programme, Learnerships and Bursaries

  • Develop and implement graduate programme in service of BBBEE and talent strategies and evaluate impact thereof, keeping close alignment to global programme
  • Development and implement External Bursary scheme in service of BBBEE strategy
  • Manage the internal bursary scheme in line with Policy
  • Implement learnerships in service of BBBEE strategy
  • Manage costs related to these initiatives

Employment equity

  • Support appointed EE Manager with EE analytics
  • Co-ordinate EE activities/meetings/etc and annual reporting in line with strategy
  • Review Progress against targets with HRBPs and Resourcing team

Onboarding

  • Develop and implement onboarding strategy, ensuring critical Code of Good Conduct/compliance are incorporated
  • Support PEM SA based employes with day1 onboarding
  • Set parameters/framework for functional onboarding, ensuring new employees are immersed into the business successfully
  • Empower line managers to drive “stay-in” conversations and record insights to inform retention strategy
  • Draw insights from Stay-in conversations to inform our retention strategy

Compliance

  • Ensure BBBEE compliance insofar as Skills Development and Employment equity are concerned
  • Total HR Budget monitoring
  • Compliance Champion for HR

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Qualifications
  • Minimum Degree in HR or related fields
  • Experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in HR or CoE related to the role
  • Extensive experience in business partnering
  • Proven track record in project management
  • Extensive knowledge of BBBEE and Labour related Laws
  • Proven track record in SD & EE reporting as well as SETA understanding
  • Track record of success driving long term value into the business through
  • the implementation of sustainable human resources programmes
