Job Responsibilities:

As a Program/Project Manager in the Asset Management space, you will be participating in a transformational, multiyear program supporting the organization’s strategic direction for JPMorgan Asset Management Operations. In this role, supporting Operations PMO, you will:

  • Coordinate cross-functional project portfolios across multiple workstreams for various products and processes
  • Manage milestones and deliverables through the entire project lifecycle to completion
  • Leverage strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills to achieve desired program results
  • Track progress across multiple project portfolios and workstreams and provide status reporting
  • Maintain project artifacts such as plans, schedules and RAID logs 
  • Help to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with program goals
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions and follow up on action items
  • Assist with analyzing program metrics, identifying issues and recommending improvements
  • Serve as communication liaison between technology, workstreams, leadership and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • 3+ years in complex program management within a financial services or operations environment 
  • Proven ability and experience in implementing large strategic initiatives with significant technology and operational components
  • Proficient with project governance tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.), MS Office and collaboration apps
  • Strong sense of prioritization & ability to execute against deliverables
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology & other key stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders to ensure decisions are well thought out and can be executed from an operations perspective
  • In depth knowledge of Asset Management or Investment management products, services, market instruments and conventions
  • Proven ability to concisely explain complex issues with excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to present to senior management
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
  • Team player that works well with others and can easily adapt to constant changing and dynamic environments
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused with ability to work independently
  • Ability to positively influence change and maintain a positive change management environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications, , Skills and Capabilities:

  • Product knowledge of Investment management product offerings e.g., Equities, Unit Dealing, Mutual Funds, etc.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (such as Agile) and tools (such as Confluence and JIRA)
  • Experience leading large programs 
  • Ability to manage different complex stakeholder map including senior stakeholders in the Operational teams, Lines of Business, Technology, Risk, Legal and Compliance
  • Knowledge of the financial ecosystem including trade support, asset servicing, corporate actions, and reconciliations
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and data, articulate complex issues clearly and concisely
  • End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, results measurement and change management
