Strategy & Business Planning Manager

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Business Planning:

  • Prepare the Regional Business Unit Mid-Term Business Plan with local functions in coordination with Nissan Europe
  • Prepare or coordinate management discussions with Nissan Europe HQ in France
  • Follow-up implementation of strategies & business priorities (Defection, Loyalty, Brand, etc.)
  • Challenge RBU functions during Business Planning process (consistency analysis, proper action plans etc.)

Strategy & Business Transformation:

  • Act as a change agent, diagnose issues & opportunities, propose action plans, challenge functions to develop strategic plans
  • Ensure Business Management Way and Operational Excellence deployment (organization, processes, tools & systems, and related change management)
  • Ensure projects governance is in place, local project teams are in place, blockers are removed, and provide guidance and support the project managers
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis, specific support studies (benchmark, etc.) and countermeasure plans or any other actions to support Managing Director decisions
  • Coordinate cross functional teams, alliance synergies and all cross-functional projects
  • Liaise with Nissan Europe Strategy & Business Planning Team

Required background, experience and education:

  • Previous experience across marketing & sales in a strategic planning roles
  • University degree
  • Some experience working within the automotive industry

Skills, abilities and languages:

  • Fluent English and local language
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A problem-solving mind set with a strategic, long-term vision
  • A well-organized project manager who can collaborate within a matrix environment
  • The ability to influence at all levels across the business

  • Direct manager: Country Manager CEE
