WeGrow Early Childhood Hebrew Immersion Teacher

WeGrow is a new initiative by WeWork aiming to revolutionize the way we think about education, with a focus on enabling every human to unleash their superpowers. Our first conscious, entrepreneurial school opened in September 2018 in New York City for ages 3 years old through 4th grade and will expand to ages 2-11 for the 2019-2020 school year. We are deeply committed to supporting growth in children’s minds, bodies, and souls through an integrated, individualized curriculum that challenges and elevates all aspects of the child.

  • A culture of kindness, respect and gratitude must be modeled for our children through the adults in our schools

Who We Want:

We are looking for established Early Childhood Hebrew Immersion Teachers to work with classes of 2 year olds, 3 year olds and pre-K. The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • An incredibly warm and passionate teacher who has a profound respect for children, understanding that we have as much to learn from children as they have to learn from us. 
  • Embrace change, are flexible and adaptive, and crave continuous improvement and feedback
  • Believes that ALL students have the ability to achieve at high levels
  • Believes that our ultimate outcome is for students to own their own learning and lead their paths
  • Believes the school community (parents, families) are part of one’s extended family

Responsibilities

  • Implement a Hebrew immersive learning methodology
  • Create an environment that fosters an educational community that values kindness, global citizenship, collaboration, and creativity
  • Communicate and collaborate with parents in a positive, kind manner
  • Partner and collaborate with WeGrow faculty, always cultivating and celebrating team
  • Executes and plans based upon insights from data to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Education or a related field
  • Must be fluent in Hebrew and English
  • Minimum of 2 years in an Early Childhood lead teaching capacity within a Hebrew Immersion setting teaching all subjects in both languages.
  • Has a background in Montessori and/or another progressive education model
  • Must be located or willing to relocate within commuting distance of NYC
  • On a path of personal growth with a desire to make a massive impact on the world
