Key Responsibilities:

  • Geographic management: You will be the primary functional and regional lead for local country eCommerce teams across our regional presence, who look to you for leadership, guidance and advice to develop their overall eCommerce business and P&L profitability. This includes but is not limited to: digital brand development development, channel expansion, campaign management and platform development.
  • Digital Brand management: This role will focus on the development of the brand across all our online eCommerce and Digital properties. You will be the key eCommerce stakeholder responsible for ensuring our brand is properly represented in the entire eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Regional campaigns: Drive regionally-led campaigns that span multiple countries
  • Regional projects: Initiate, own and lead regional projects (new site launches, functionality enhancements) to drive consistent adoption across multiple countries
  • Rolling out best practices: Have a regional view of successes across the region and replicate across multiple countries so that we do not need to reinvent the wheel every time. 
  • Tracking & reporting: Have an analytics-driven approach to driving your business

Key Requirements:

In short, we are looking for someone who has significant experience managing a regional eCommerce business for a premium brand in a highly matrixed and decentralized environment. The successful candidate for this key role will need to have a strategic mindset, the ability to execute hands-on and confidence to influence others in a highly decentralized environment. Excellent communications skills, superb interpersonal skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and the acumen to strive in an ambiguous environment are all necessary skills to be successful in this role. 

Education & Experience:

  • Able to lead and work with people at all levels across the organization 
  • Skilled at influencing opinion to accomplish business goals and objectives without damaging relationships
  • Decisive, can make sound decisions in the face of pressure
  • Extremely detail orientated with strong sense of work prioritization
  • Outgoing, proactive, fast-learning, independent and innovative
  • Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity 
  • Able to work effectively with teams spread across multiple geographies and time zones

Education: 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree holder in eCommerce, Online Marketing or a related field. 

Work Experience:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in eCommerce or Online Marketing gained from a premium consumer lifestyle Brand 
  • Quality regional work experience is mandatory. You MUST have hands-on experience and demonstrable success (measured by business size and quality of execution) directly managing a Brand’s eCommerce business in Asia.

Required languages:

  • Proficiency in English mandatory
  • Working knowledge of Asian languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Thai) would be a significant advantage
