Your field of responsibility

As a part of role, your responsibility includes:

  • A challenging role in an international and dynamic environment within the CIO (Chief Investment Officer) Communication team
  • Opportunity to sharpen the communication of our Credit Suisse House View and drive its impact
  • Interpret China and global financial market events and put them into the context of our House View to capture audience attention
  • Write/edit impactful contributions for our flagship publications (e.g., Investment Daily, Investment Monthly, Investment Outlook)
  • Effective translations of House View into sales headlines for clients
  • First edit on analyst/strategist articles in close collaboration with Investment Publishing team
  • Influence the evolution of the House View in a digital context.

Your future colleagues

Investment Strategy (CIO Office) team focuses on asset allocation for both discretionary and advisory investment services across key asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income/ Credit, FX, commodities, and alternatives. Investment Strategy and Research publishes periodic investment reports for all these asset classes which are distributed to its HNI/ Ultra high net-worth clientele and to the Private Banking relationship managers. You will be part of a global team in the Investment Solutions and Sustainability function. This is an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team from diverse backgrounds.

Your skills and experience

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in writing and editing economic and industry analysis, preferably within a financial services organization or within financial journalism
  • Knowledge of macroeconomics combined with a background and keen interest in financial markets
  • Proven track record of successfully working with high calibre expert contributors to deliver results against tight deadlines
  • Outstanding editorial and analytical judgment and a collaborative approach
  • Pronounced team-player
  • Relevant degree in economics or finance
  • Proficiency in Chinese (preferably native) and English is necessary; additional languages are desirable
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to convey information with clarity while maintaining integrity of contributors’ input
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
