Position: Talent Acquisition Manager, Nordics

Location: Espoo or Stockholm

Reporting to: Head of Talent & Culture, Europe

Role Overview:

As the Talent Acquisition function evolves towards offering more holistic and strategic solutions, we are on the lookout for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to be based in either Espoo or Stockholm. This crucial role involves leading a team of 8 Talent Acquisition Specialists who operate across different Nordic locations, including oversight of supporting colleagues in our shared service center in Bratislava. The selected candidate will be at the forefront of shaping and implementing forward-thinking Talent Acquisition strategies to attract and retain the best talent across our frontline business, global functions, corporate headquarters, and manufacturing plant. This position is key to driving team motivation, innovating processes, and optimizing systems to achieve excellence in talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and shape the comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy for the Nordics, encompassing frontline business, global functions, corporate headquarters, and the manufacturing plant as part of the local People and Communications leadership team.
  • Direct, evaluate, and develop a team of TA CoE professionals to ensure delivery of efficient and quality services within established budgets.
  • Design, develop, and implement Talent Acquisition processes that are aligned with KONE’s strategic business needs.
  • Foster competence development within the TA Team and deliver training to boost employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with other teams within People & Communications and business stakeholders to ensure a consistent and high-quality Talent Acquisition service delivery.
  • Assess business environment and workforce trends to offer recommendations that aim at achieving and surpassing Talent Acquisition targets.
  • Participate in the local budget process and contribute significantly to the European budgeting process.
  • Engage with colleagues within KONE and in the wider industry to exchange best practices and stay informed on current trends.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role managing international or cross-border teams.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record in budget management and financial acumen.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience within the Nordics is a must, demonstrating a deep understanding of the local talent market and cultural nuances.
  • Fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages.
