The position

In this role, you will develop marketing strategies and drive Obesity Business, in collaboration with the team including implementation, monitoring, evaluation and set corrective actions to ensure results through coordination of field force and other related departments to achieve short- and long-term business objectives. The main scope of accountabilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Design and execute the product marketing plan; Conduct effective local market research to identify trends and assess the product’s competitive position. Develop, implement, and monitor both, the annual and long-term brand strategy for the brand(s) under responsibility. Propose the product marketing budget and manage it efficiently, ensuring effective resource allocation to maximise return on investment. Monitor the implementation of the marketing strategy and ensure that the launch plan is in place and develop the product campaign including advertising and sales promotional materials.
  • Communicate the marketing programme to internal stakeholders and implement campaigns; Communicate product promotions and marketing plans to ensure alignment with company strategy. Drive the implementation of product marketing plan and campaigns, monitoring sales progression and performance regularly. Provide timely and effective feedback to the sales team on implementation of brand strategies in the field. Conduct practical and motivational product promotion training for current and new sales representatives. Develop and maintain strategic business partnerships with related departments to ensure thorough workflow during the product life cycle.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with target customers and external stakeholders; Identify, develop, and maintain contact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Maintain and execute a regular visit plan with target customers in coordination with the sales team. Manage effectively all the interactions with relevant external agencies (creative agencies and event agencies) to ensure an outstanding brand strategy execution.
  • Ensure sustainable life cycle, accessibility status and availabilities of responsible product. Work according to local law, code of conduct, business ethics/compliance framework and company policies. Others ad hoc duties assigned by Business Unit Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor ‘s degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 3-4 years’ experience in marketing or product management, preferably in pharmaceutical industry. Working in clinic portfolio will be an advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of the current pharmaceutical / out-of-pocket / Private market situation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good communication in English with Thai proficiency is required.
