SEO and Social Media Digital Marketing Associate

The Associate, Digital Marketing will be responsible for executing the strategy and roadmap for organic search and content strategy related projects. He/she will ensure and implement digital marketing and SEO tasks such as content publishing, keyword research, onsite and offsite SEO, link building, content promotion and outreach, and copywriting. This position will be involved in technical development to ensure that tracking is in place, a baseline is established, and continuously report on the health of SEO throughout the execution of a given initiative.

Additionally, this role will develop and manage content and engagement on key social media channels. The Associate, Digital Marketing will provide day-to-day management of social media platforms as well as analytics and reporting. They will provide social media support to both Business and Consumer lines of business to deliver consistent and effective results. They will receive requests, build creative briefs, facilitate both business and governance approvals, and ultimately deliver projects on established timelines, within the targeted budget. Strong understanding of social trends, behaviors, and how they can be translated into engaging, eye-catching content, exemplifying our brand values is required.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and execute day-to-day tactical operations including, but not limited to competitive analysis, keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO and content gap assessments to identify and prioritize organic search opportunities.
  • Optimize on-site content for maximum organic performance; this includes HTML, image optimization, site structure, and metadata, as well as page layout and internal linking.
  • Collaborate with web developers to implement SEO recommendations, including schema markup, page speed optimizations, and mobile usability recommendations.
  • Keep up-to-date with latest industry and SEO trends, algorithm updates, SERP landscape changes, and content optimization best practices
  • Create content and social strategies across all social platforms to engage and grow our audiences.
  • Manage daily operations of social channels, including content strategy, calendar development and scheduling, engagement and augmentation based on performance.
  • Monitor social media performance and report on key metrics on a regular basis to ensure audience growth, strong engagement rates, and creative-performance insights.
  • Stay up to date on social trends and best practices, sharing insights to drive continuous improvement and brainstorm new ways to engage with the community.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent field.

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years in a hands-on SEO role working within B2C environments. Enterprise SEO experience is preferred but not required.
  • 3-5 years Social Media Marketing experience.
  • Financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic technical SEO concepts such as crawling, indexation, Core Web Vitals, HTTP status codes, internal linking, etc.
  • Expert user of SEO and analytical software such as Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMRush and other standard web analytics platforms.
  • Deep technical experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Expert SEO copywriting skills.
  • Prior experience developing social media strategy (paid and organic), scheduling campaigns, monitor community engagement, tracking/reporting, and analytics.
  • Proficient with social media management software and social listening tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, etc.
  • Experience using Workfront or a comparable project management platform preferred.
  • Comfortable speaking to and working with high-level business stakeholders.

  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from members, regulators, and others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in print and digital.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occassional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
