We are looking for a dedicated Expert IT Support Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team and help us inspire customers with passion and expertise for our BOSS and HUGO brands.

The purpose of this role is to provide high quality systems and desktop support for our end users, to coordinate our Retail Store Projects as well take over the IT relevant communication to all involved departments to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business and cover field engineer activities, in the beginning mainly in our HUGO BOSS Showroom in Düsseldorf but also in our Stores in Germany. If necessary, tasks in Switzerland, Austria and Poland are also possible (Central Hub).

Working together with the rest of the team and colleagues in Germany to deliver professional IT support for our users and Showroom Customers, supported by the global IT Service Desk and the Retail Care teams to improve and enhance the service level of the systems supported.

Be a key player in the setup of our exciting new store opening programme as well as rolling out key projects in our retail environment across the Central Hub.

What you can expect:

  • Support our sales staff and their customers in our new Showroom in various IT-specific matters
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level helpdesk service to answer users’ inquiries regarding all types of computer systems
  • On-site IT support and field engineer activities, primarily in the HUGO BOSS Stores in Germany, but also the other Central Hub countries
  • Analysis and improvement of local IT, IT-Retail service and infrastructure processes
  • Support and close cooperation in all matters relating to the digital transformation of our retail locations.
  • Perform, plan and execute office and store IT hardware/software installations including new starter equipment preparation.
  • Specialised networking duties including PCs and Printer setup and problem resolution 
  • High quality Support of modern communication and messaging applications e.g. Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, IP telephony
  • Work closely with central Service Desk and other teams in Germany, Escalating incidents and service requests 
  • Willingness to travel to our locations throughout the Central Hub is required.

Your profile:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in IT, experience in retail industry is an advantage
  • Good understanding of IT administration and maintenance of a Microsoft environment with a mix of client architecture (Windows, iOS and macOS devices).
  • Experience with various collaboration and presentation solutions (e.g. Teams Room systems, signage solutions, presentation screens) is a great advantage
  • Able to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally to all levels of staff
  • Excellent IT infrastructure and network knowledge
  • A mindset made for troubleshooting with an eye for detail
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good English language skills
