About the opportunity
MSH is seeking a Vector Control Operations Manager (VCOM) for the anticipated 5-year USAID Malaria Vector Control Activity designed to identify and implement proven, evidence-based vector control approaches in Tanzania, in support of reducing the overall malaria burden, and moving Tanzania closer to malaria elimination.
This position is subject to project award and funding.
About the role
The VCOM will provide technical, organizational, and logistics management for the Project’s integrated vector control operations. Activities will include planning and leading insecticide-treated net (ITN) distributions with a goal of improving access, developing techniques to promote consistent and correct use of ITNs, and providing technical assistance to partners to implement high quality indoor residue spraying (IRS) and larval source management (LSM) interventions.
